5 Ways to Solve Bucket Elevator Ash Leakage

(1) Whole Casing flange gasket of bucket elevator damages or no flange gasket, please change new gasket, glue with the sealing glue, retighten the flange bolts.
(2) If material leaks from the head section and bottom base gap, please add a gasket or sealant.
(3) If altitude difference is too large, it will increase material feeding pressure, please change the material feeding method, add a feeding buffer device.
(4) Drive chain occurs idle rotation, please adjust the chain length. 
(5) Casing installation is not straight, please adjust perpendicularity of the casing length.

Bucket Elevator Casing Embossing Process

Embossing is commonly seen in the bend place. Generally speaking, according to the force requirements ofbucket elevator middle casing, steel plate will be folded into geometric shapes (such as rectangle, etc.) or grooved shape in order to ensure and strengthen the intensity and stiffness of casing side. Through this kind of technology, it can enhance bucket elevator rigidity so that to prevent its deformation caused by uneven force. Meanwhile, material consumption and investment costs could be saved as well as to ensure the aesthetic appearance.
1. Stiffness Properties Advanced
Stiffness refers to the ability of material or structure to resist elastically deformable. The steel plate intensity and rigidity of bucket elevator casing can be enhanced by embossing process. Therefore it will reduce the casing deformation.
2. Improve Strength Properties
Strength refers to the ability of metallic materials to resist permanent deformation and fracture under the external force. Making a flute in the proper position of bucket elevator casing can increase its local intensity and reduce component breakage costs.

Application for Different Forms of Bucket Elevator Hopper

TH bucket elevator hopper type can be divided into: shallow hopper, deep hopper and triangle hopper.

Shallow hopper mouth and back wall angle is small, which can be loaded with less material, but it is easy to unload. Suitable for the transport of wet, sticky, and other liquid materials such as cement, wet sand, gypsum powder, etc.
Deep hopper and shallow hopper are made by the steel plate welding or direct stamping, cast iron and cast iron can be used as well, in order to reduce the weight of the hopper, it can be made of fiberglass. The bottom of the chute is provided with a guide groove which is formed by the guide side, and the guide chute of the former hopper is guided by the material discharging from the unloading port, which is suitable for the working speed, carrying heavy and fragile materials for example, large coal, ore, coke, etc. The guide chute bucket general use of steel after stamping die hard like welding, the guide chute bucket is a densely arranged in the traction component, and the deep and shallow bucket along the length direction of the driving component arranged at a certain distance from. How to solve bucket elevator plugging problem ?

Bucket elevator plugging may occur during the operation of bucket elevator,according to long time experience and analysis of bucket elevator technical personnel , we can add a vibrating screen to solve the plugging problem due to large blocks enter into the pipeline,rubber belt slip problem can be avoided by increasing the tension force to increase the lifting height of bucket elevator.However, more than 90% of the plugging problem is caused by the bucket scraper system connecting pipe plugging problem due to the unreasonable design. Here PK Machinery will introduce two solutions as follows:
The first method:Increase the angle of the connecting pipe to increase the rough and fine material flow rate in the pipe,reduce the possibility of plugging,but this solution need to raise the height of scraping conveyor.
The second method:Add a vibrator the connecting pipe side add vibrator to achieve the material being conveyed smoothly ,interlock the vibrator and material scraping system to make it vibrate intermittently,the vibration time,frequency and interval period should be set up as per bucket elevator working condition to realize automatic operation.The solution can completely solve the connecting pipe plugging.
